Performance
The MG279Q provides a colourful clear gaming experience thanks to that IPS panel backed by a 1440p QHD display running at 144hz. This display really does live up to its promise of being a gamer friendly monitor.
It scores an impressive sub 10ms latency on professional lag testing, which puts it slightly ahead of its rivals. That said, this level of latency is not going to be significant on its own, but as any gamer knows, you have to keep on top of all the lag because it all adds up and after a point it can become noticeable.

You'll need a very good graphics card to run a QHD screen at full pelt but if you have one, that IPS screen is going to look damn good cruising along at 144 frames per second!
