Invision MX150 PC Monitor Arm Review

Invision MX150

Monitor arms are an undervalued addition to your home office setup, the first thing I did when I upgraded my own screens was to go out and buy monitor arms.  If you want more flexibility and desk space, it’s time to ditch the native stands that are included with your screen and invest in something more sturdy.  The good news is that there are many affordable options out there like the Invision MX150 monitor arm.

The Invision single arm is able to support one monitor, but if you are wishing to mount more, it is perfectly reasonable to buy multiple single supports.  This may actually provide more flexibility and spacing options when compared to a dual arm setup, but may potentially cost more and require more space to attach both arms.

We give the Invision MX150 a 5 out of 5 rating. Want to know what existing owners of the monitor think? You can read real user reviews here.

Should I buy the Invision MX150?

The MX150 provides a whole range of ergonomic movements to ensure you get your monitor setup just the way you want it. It allows a full 360 degrees of rotation and can extend towards you an impressive 525mm. The arm allows a tilt of between + 35°/- 50°. Attachment is via the 100 x 100 or 75 x 75 VESA standard, these are common across many monitors on the market today. You'll have to check compatibility before purchase though as without the mounting socket the arm will be of no use to you. The good news is that you can reuse the stands if you buy new compatible screens in the future. This model is rated for screens up to 6.5kg and is suitable for sizes between 17" and 27". You will be able to mount it onto a desk up to 128mm thick, If you are having some doubts about this purchase then why not read some real owner reviews and see what other buyers think.

FAQ

Welcome to the Invision MX150 FAQ. This section attempts to answer common questions you may have, please get in touch if you have any more queries or if you think our answers need updating.

Your Questions Answered

Could I mount a 32" screen with this?

The critical point is the weight of the monitor. The arm may work fine with a larger screen but it is not designed to handle weights above 6.5kg. Check your suppliers returns policy just in case it doesn’t work for you.

Can I lock the arm in place?

There is no explicit locking mechanism on this arm, it is free moving but will remain in the desired position after initial setup.
