List of 1920 x 1080 Monitors- April 2019
1080p or full HD resolution has become the minimum standard for televisions and monitors in recent times. There are now superior options available and it is tempting to think of 1080p as past it. But don’t write off good old fashioned HD so quickly! 1080p still looks great on a 24 inch screen and arguably it’s OK on a 27 inch monitor too. Many gamers will not be too concerned by the difference.
Running a 1920 x 1080 monitor has one big advantage, you don’t need such a powerful video card to get smooth images in games at high detail levels. A Geforce GTX960 got example will be able to run the current crop of games such as Fallout 4 or GTAV with the best graphics options on an HD monitor. This would not be possible on the higher resolution screens, unless you have deep pockets HD is still a great choice.
HD screens still look great, they are much more affordable and pair up well with older graphics cards. You don’t have to break the bank to by a 144Hz monitor with G-sync.
