The big format gaming display, or BFGD for short, is an initiative from Nvidia to build a brand around what they think a display should be. To be labelled as a BFGD display you’ll have to include certain features. First announced by Nvidia at CES 2018, these products have to meet Nvidia’s requirements for high refresh rates, low latency , PC-tuned HDR, and G-SYNC variable refresh rate technology

High refresh rates pave the way for smoother game play compared to almost all current consumer TVs, they will be fast and responsive and the G-Sync technology could help when www.garida.net watching films that have different source frame rates that a traditional TV, doing away with the need for interpolation. BFGD stamped displays will also feature 4K resolutions and HDR and will compete with rival manufacturers pushing this technology in the coming years.
